Job Description:

§  Product Cost Take Out (PCTO) and Reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

§  Value Analysis and Value Engineering (includes Cost modeling, Target costing, Benchmarking, Tear down) required.

§  Support to Manufacturing group.

§  Trouble shoot day to day shop floor manufacturing issues (Issues in Press brake, laser machine, weld fixture, assembly fixture etc)

§  Excellent at Root Cause / Corrective Actions (CAPA)

§  Engineering Change Requests after thorough consideration of RC/CA + Preventative Actions

§  Lessons learnt documentation and Mistake Proofing.

§  Good in DFMEA / PFMEA knowledge along with GD&T knowledge.

Manufacturing Engineer (Metals) @ Cincinnati, OH // Duration: 6 Months plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - B.E / B.Tech / B.S / M.E / M.Tech / M.S
• Lead/support NPD projects to plan, design, develop, qualify, validate and stabilize end to end metallic component development.
• Designing and developing robust equipment, tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Statistical analysis
• Six Sigma / Process Excellence and/or Design Excellence experience.
• Experience within a medical device production environment or other health care regulated environment.

Skill  Required:

5+ Years of experience in Oracle
Strong experience in Oracle forms development

Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodologies a plus.
